Established in 1982 as The Stripe and Moulding Company. SMC fast became the leading provider of vehilce Strips, signage and graphics, as well as other services such as window tinting and roof racks.
SMC provided mobile services though out the greater north island areas, with headquarters at 509 Grey Street, Hamilton East.
In 2004 SMC rebranded to become Profilm also know as Protective Films and Professional Films.
Aside from a new name and look, came a new division withen the company, a division which provides top quality High Performace window films to the trade, wholesaling thoughout New Zealand.
In 2009 Profilm has made a change again, one with our customers in mind. With over 18 years based in Hamilton East, we decided to make the move the the fast growing Te Rapa region.
With many people moving into new housing subdivisions and industry fast moving in the area we have choosen to provide convenince, and you will now find us at the corner of Te Rapa and Pukete Roads, Behind the Mc Donalds and Shell service station.
