Profilm NZ Booking Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to all customers who make a booking with Profilm NZ Ltd for car window tinting or paint protection services. By booking with us, you agree to the following:

General Conduct

  • Profilm NZ Ltd will not tolerate any verbal or physical abuse towards staff under any circumstances. We reserve the right to refuse service and take appropriate action in such cases.

Bookings & Service Times

  • Service times provided at the time of booking are an estimate only. Actual time may vary depending on the vehicle’s condition and service requirements.

  • Bookings are not guaranteed until confirmed via email and may be rescheduled or cancelled at the sole discretion of Profilm NZ Ltd.

  • Any additional work requested outside of the original booking will incur additional charges.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • You may cancel you booking at any time up to 24 hours before your appointment date.

  • You may re-schedule your booking online up to 24 hours before your appointment date, after that please call our team to see if we can accomodate you.

Vehicle Preparation & Condition

  • Please ensure your vehicle is as clean as possible. Excessive dirt or hazardous materials may incur a surcharge.

  • All valuables must be removed before drop-off. Profilm NZ Ltd accepts no liability for lost or missing items.

  • Prices do not include the removal of old tint or film. Tint/film removal starts from $100.

Window Tinting

  • All window tint installations using LUX or SKN film range include a non transferable limited lifetime warranty.

  • All window tint installations using TRU film range include a 10 year non transferable warranty.

  • Window films require 48 hours to cure. During this period, the vehicle windows should not be opened, and Profilm NZ Ltd is not liable for damage caused during the curing process.

  • Minor dust particles or small imperfections may occur and are considered part of the installation process. Major defects such as peeling, lifting, or large bubbles will be rectified free of charge if reported immediately.

  • Customers must inspect and approve the vehicle upon collection. Claims made after handover will not be accepted.

  • If prior tint or adhesive residue is present and not disclosed, Profilm NZ Ltd is not responsible for any imperfections in the new installation.

Paint Protection Film (PPF) & Wrapping

  • Occasionally, factory paint may lift during PPF or wrap removal/installation. This is due to poor paint quality or prior repairs and is not the responsibility of Profilm NZ Ltd.

  • Some films may contain a manufacturer’s logo or watermark. While care is taken to avoid visible markings, removal or redo at the customer’s request will be at the customer’s expense.

Warranty & Aftercare

  • Any warranty claim must be supported with photos/videos and sent to info@profilm.co.nz within a reasonable time.

  • Refusal of recommended services or failure to follow aftercare instructions may void your warranty.

Liability

  • Profilm NZ Ltd is not liable for damage caused by:

    • Pre-existing vehicle defects or weak paintwork.

    • Issues arising from prior tint or film installations.

    • Vehicle damage during collection/delivery if transport is arranged at the customer’s request.

  • Profilm NZ Ltd accepts eftpos, debit and credit card payments only

    • All services must be paid in full before the vehicle is released
